Global sports brand PUMA has today launched the ULTRA NITRO™ 7, the first football boot to feature NITROFOAM™ ELITE, and the fastest boot the brand has ever made. Not even you knew you could be this fast.

NITROFOAM™ ELITE is not new; what started in running is now hitting the pitch with the kind of speed that can only be measured in goals per hour. Built into both the sock liner and the footbed of the ULTRA NITRO™ 7, it is engineered to compress and rebound instantly – adding spring underfoot so that every push-off feels quicker, sharper, and more explosive.

The ULTRA NITRO™ 7 is built around that single idea; speed in every detail. The re-engineered ULTRAWEAVE upper is significantly lighter than its predecessor, cutting weight without cutting corners, so players get targeted support and a closer feel on the ball even at top speed.

Underneath, a new speed last shapes the boot to hug the foot from the off, delivering a snug, locked-in fit that keeps touch crisp and control sharp when it matters most. The streamlined engineered slip-on construction wraps the foot tight with zero distraction, so there’s nothing between you and the game.

The SPEEDSYSTEM 2.0 outsole responds to every push-off for explosive propulsion, and FastTrax 2.0 studs, shaped by dynamic pressure-mapping data – grip hard on the plant and release clean on the push, giving players pitch-perfect traction for the moments that decide games.

For those who want to take it one step further, the ULTRA NITRO™ 7 also comes in a laceless version. The ULTRA NITRO™ 7 ULTIMATE LL FG strips the boot back to its essentials: no laces, no interruptions, just a clean strike surface and a high-tension knitted ankle strap that anchors at the heel and fuses to the upper to keep the foot locked in from first whistle to last.
