Durban City FC Partner with Umbro: Three-Season Deal Secured Through 2028/29

Durban City FC have officially secured a three-season technical sponsorship deal with global sportswear giant Umbro South Africa, signed through Umbro’s African licensee ShockProof Investments 223. The partnership will outfit the club through the 2028/29 football calendar, marking a major step in the team’s growth and identity.

Umbro released a statement celebrating the collaboration: “New Season. New Kit. Our team, our city. Durban City FC and Umbro are pleased to announce a new partnership that will see Umbro become the Club’s official apparel sponsor for 3 seasons. The partnership will see Durban City FC supplied with official match kits, training wear, travel apparel and supporter merchandise for the duration of the season.”

The deal arrives on the back of a landmark 2025/26 campaign for Durban City FC. In their debut Betway Premiership season, the club secured a Top 8 finish and lifted the 2026 Nedbank Cup, becoming the first KwaZulu-Natal side in 17 years to win the competition. That triumph also earned them qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup, where they will represent South Africa in the 2026/27 season.
