Hugo Broos names Bafana Bafana preliminary squad for AFCON
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has announced his preliminary squad for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The 50-man preliminary squad that was announced by the Belgian mentor today will be trimmed to 23 players before Bafana Bafana departure to Ivory Coast. The 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations will be held from the 13th of January 2024 to Sunday the 11th of February 2024.
South Africa will assemble for camp on the 4th of January 2024 and then travel to Stellenbosch for a training camp that will be held in the Western Cape until the 9th of January 2024.
