Jessica Moutang’s promise to Kaizer Chiefs supporters
After a disappointing 2023, Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Moutang has revealed the club’s goals in 2024.
Amakhosi failed to challenge for trophies in 2023 after getting knocked out in the semi-finals of the MTN8 by Mamelod Sundowns, and crashing out of the Carling Knockout last 16 after losing to AmaZulu FC.
Motaung will be hoping for a better 2024 with the Nedbank Cup as the main trophy target for the club.
“As we enter a new year, Kaizer Chiefs carry the lessons, experiences, and ambitions gained from the past 53 years into 2024,” Moutang told the club’s official website.
“Guided by our single-minded commitment to excellence, our primary goal is to continue building on the successes of the past and set new standards for ourselves and South African football.
“This year, we embark on a journey filled with determination and optimism. Our aim is to compete on all fronts, reclaiming our dominance in both domestic and international competitions.
“We strive to strengthen our squad, invest in talent development, and embrace tactical innovations, all aligned with the rich legacy of Kaizer Chiefs.
“We also look forward to our Chairman entering the octogenarian stage of his blessed life as he will turn 80 years old on 16 October.”
“We are privileged to witness the pioneering spirit, dedication, and passion that drives this institution forward. We move into the future with an understanding that challenges will always exist, but comforted in the knowledge the Kaizer Chiefs Family’s unity and belief will always prevail.
“Let 2024 be a year where Kaizer Chiefs soars to greater heights, fueled by the collective determination of our staff and the unmatched support of our Amakhosi faithful. Together, we will script another chapter in the illustrious history of our beloved Club.”
