
PSL to observe moment of silence for the late Siphiwe Mkhonza
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has on Tuesday confirmed that it will observe a moment of silence for the late SABC football analyst Siphiwe Mkhonza.
According to the media release, the moment of silence will be observed at all the DStv Premiership, Motsepe Foundation Championship, and DStv Diski Challenge fixtures this week.
“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is deeply saddened by the loss of former professional footballer and football analyst, Siphiwe Mkhonza,” read the statement.
“The PSL extends its sincere condolences to the Mkhonza family, as well as to his colleagues and fans, as they navigate through this challenging time.
“A moment of silence will be observed in his honour at all DStv Premiership, Motsepe Foundation Championship, and DStv Diski Challenge fixtures this week.
“May his soul repose peacefully.”
