Mamelodi Sundowns qualify for 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in America

Mamelodi Sundowns have booked their ticket for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in USA, despite getting knocked out of the CAF Champions League by Esperance in Pretoria on Friday.

“Tonight’s CAF Champions League semi-final results mean Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Espérance Sportive de Tunis have qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025,” FIFA said in a statement released on Friday.

“Al Ahly SC’s progression to the final means both sides are guaranteed to qualify through their standings in Africa’s rankings pathway.”
