Motsepe Foundation & Sanlam announce R32 million schools sponsorship

The Motsepe Foundation in conjunction with Sanlam have announced a R32 million partnership for the Kay Motsepe Schools Championship.

The Kay Motsepe Schools Championship and ABC Motsepe SA Schools Choral Eisteddfod have geared up for an exciting and impactful return, bringing together thousands of young talents from across South Africa in a celebration of sportsmanship, leadership, and community spirit.

The competition is the biggest of its kind in South Africa with over 10 000 schools participating annually and prize money totalling R11 750 000.

The media engagement event held on Monday, 29th July 2024, at Sanlam’s office in Sandton, set the stage for what promises to be outstanding schools’ football, netball, and musical events.
