
Hugo Broos names Bafana Bafana squad for AFCON qualifiers
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has named the preliminary squad to face Uganda and South Sudan in two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in September.
South Africa will face Uganda at home at Orlando Stadium on Friday, 06 September 2024 (6pm), and then they travel to South Sudan to play their second match in the group on Tuesday, 10 September 2024.
Bafana Bafana Preliminary Squad:
Goalkeepers: Ronwen Williams (Mamelodi Sundowns), Bruce Bvuma (Kaizer Chiefs), Ricardo Goss (SuperSport United), Veli Mothwa (AmaZulu FC), Sipho Chaine (Orlando Pirates).
