Nick Aresti on Mamelodi Sundowns & Global Soccer Schools International partnership
On Friday, 27 February 2026, Mamelodi Sundowns officially launched the Mamelodi Sundowns Soccer Schools in Midrand, Johannesburg, in partnership with Global Soccer Schools International (GSSI). This groundbreaking grassroots initiative is set to serve more than 6,000 children aged 4 to 15 across South Africa and the United Kingdom, reflecting Sundowns’ long-term vision of developing champions on and off the pitch.
During the launch of the Mamelodi Sundowns Soccer Schools, Nick Aresti, the Founder and Technical Director of GSSI, highlighted the strategic alignment this partnership brings to youth development.
