Backing Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana: Standard Bank Joins SAFA in Historic Deal

The South African Football Association (SAFA) and Standard Bank have officially announced a landmark four-year sponsorship agreement on Monday, 2 March 2026.

The partnership establishes Standard Bank as the official financial partner for all South African national teams — including Bafana Bafana, Banyana Banyana, and all junior age-group sides — through 2030.

SAFA described the deal as a major step toward strengthening the financial sustainability of South African football, while Standard Bank emphasized its commitment to investing in national pride and supporting the growth of the game at every level.
