Casric Stars, Milford FC, TS Galaxy & Durban City FC await Nedbank Cup Semi-Final fate on Monday
The Nedbank Cup has once again lived up to its reputation as South Africa’s most unpredictable cup competition. After a weekend of drama, upsets, and penalty shootout thrills, the four remaining clubs will learn their semi-final opponents when the official draw takes place on Monday night, 09 March 2026.
The draw will be conducted LIVE on the popular football show Extra Time, airing on SuperSport PSL channel 202 from 20h30. Fans across the country will be glued to their screens as the suspense unfolds.
Nedbank Cup Semi-Finalists
The quarter-finals produced unforgettable moments, leaving us with four clubs who have battled their way into the last four:
- Casric Stars – stunned AmaZulu FC with a 2–1 victory, continuing their fairytale run.
- Milford FC – held their nerve to beat Sekhukhune United 3–2 on penalties after a 2–2 draw.
- TS Galaxy – showed dominance with a convincing 2–0 win over Jacksa Spears.
- Durban City FC – edged Golden Arrows 5–4 on penalties after a tense 1–1 stalemate.
Each of these teams has carved their own path, mixing giant-killing heroics with disciplined performances.
How the Draw Works
The procedure is simple but adds to the tension:
- No seeding — all four club names go into one bowl.
- The first club drawn will host the first semi-final.
- The second club drawn will be the away team in that semi-final.
- The same process will be repeated to determine the second semi-final pairing.
This open format means any combination is possible — fans could see underdogs clash head-to-head or a showdown between seasoned contenders.
