Miguel Cardoso Makes Bold Promise to Bafana Bafana Coach Pitso Mosimane

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has thrown his full support behind newly appointed Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane, insisting that the Brazilians will do everything possible to help the national team succeed.

Speaking about Mosimane’s appointment, the Sundowns head coach dismissed any suggestion that the strong presence of Sundowns players in the national setup could create tension between club and country. Instead, Cardoso made it clear that representing South Africa must always come first.

The Portuguese mentor stressed that it is his responsibility to assist the national team whenever required. He said Sundowns would be ready to provide Mosimane with any player information, support, or resources needed to ensure the national side performs at its best.

Cardoso also delivered a strong message regarding the identity of players when they are called up for international duty. According to the coach, once players wear the Bafana Bafana jersey, they are no longer viewed as Sundowns players but as representatives of the nation.
