  • CLUB1 will automatically be the team finishing in 15th position of the Premier Division.
  • A public draw will then determine which of the remaining participating Member Clubs will be designated as CLUB2 and CLUB3.

The purpose of this draw is to finalize the fixture sequence for the Play-Offs, which will be contested over six match dates. The fixtures are scheduled as follows:

  • 26 May 2026 – CLUB3 vs CLUB1
  • 30 May 2026 – CLUB2 vs CLUB3 (CLUB1 bye)
  • 03 June 2026 – CLUB1 vs CLUB2 (CLUB3 bye)

In addition, the two clubs finishing in 2nd and 3rd place in the Motsepe Foundation Championship will be identified as NFD2 and NFD3 for the purpose of the draw. These clubs will join the Premier Division’s 15th-placed side in the round-robin competition, with the winner earning a coveted spot in the top flight for the 2026/27 season.

The draw promises to be a pivotal moment in shaping the future of South African football, as clubs from both divisions battle for survival and promotion. Fans can follow the drama live online, with the PSL ensuring full transparency in the allocation process.
