Mamelodi Sundowns Lock In Tactical Plan in Today’s Chloorkop Session
Mamelodi Sundowns continued their preparations for a crucial CAF Champions League encounter against Angolan outfit Wiliete SC, holding an intensive tactical training session at Chloorkop on Wednesday.
The squad gathered on the training pitch with a clear focus on sharpening their approach for the decisive home fixture. Coaches and players worked closely together as they made final adjustments to their game plan ahead of the return leg.
A large portion of the session was dedicated to tactical drills, with the players taking part in passing sequences and coordinated movement exercises designed to improve understanding and execution on match day.
The technical team also spent time evaluating the squad’s overall performance in training, carefully assessing readiness levels as they looked to settle on the best strategy for the upcoming clash.
Goalkeepers were put through specialised training routines, concentrating on agility, positioning and reaction saves. The drills formed an important part of the preparations as Sundowns aim to remain solid at both ends of the pitch.
The Brazilians will now turn their full attention to Friday’s showdown at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, where they will welcome Wiliete SC for the second leg knowing a strong performance could take them a step closer to their continental ambitions.
