The 2024/25 Betway Premiership entered Week 2 in the new season with interesting results across four games of the eight games played this weekend.

Magesi FC 0-2 Polokwane City (Puleng Tlolane 30′, Sibusiso Tshabalala 73′): On Saturday afternoon, Clinton Larsen suffered his second consecutive defeat as Magesi FC coach following a 2-0 loss to Polokwane City in a Betway Premiership match played at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Golden Arrows 2-0 Marumo Gallants (Knox Mutizwa 39′, Nduduzo Sibiya 44′): Golden Arrows climbed up to the top of the Betway Premiership table after a 2-0 win over Marumo Gallants at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale on Saturday afternoon.

SuperSport United 0-0 Royal AM: SuperSport United and Royal AM played out a 0-0 draw at TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) Stadium in Pretoria as both sides remain without a win in the Betway Premiership this season.

Chippa United 1-0 Richards Bay FC (Thabiso Kutumela 39′ – OG): Chippa United beat Richards Bay FC 1-0 in a Betway Premiership match played at Buffalo City Stadium in East London on Saturday night.
