Stellenbosch FC sign Basil Mphahlele on a free transfer

Stellenbosch Football Club have completed the signing of South African international Basil Mphahlele.

The 23-year-old has signed a long-term deal with the club and arrives in the Cape Winelands on a free transfer after spending the last four seasons with Baroka FC.

Head Coach Steve Barker on the club website said: “Basil Mphahlele is a quality player with the ability to play as a full-back who can get forward.

“He is a young player with good energy and a lot of potential, and he has been brought into the team to add depth and quality in his position.”
