Bafana Bafana squad announcement on Wednesday
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos will on Wednesday, 30 August 2023, announce the 23-man squad to face Namibia and DR Congo at home next month.

The announcement will take place at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) studios in Auckland Park.
The matches are vital for Broos as South Africa gear up for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast from 13 January to 11 February 2024.
Bafana Bafana will host Namibia on Saturday, 9 September 2023, and three days later on Tuesday, 12 September 2023, will take on DR Congo.
These games are also part of the preparations for South Africa for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which kick off in November 2023.
Bafana Bafana are in Group C alongside Nigeria, Benin, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Lesotho.
